Inside the Target Area

Project Description
The Deer Creek Crossing purchase has been one of FWP’s highest fisheries conservation priorities because it will prevent development and degradation of this critical stream reach, will allow restoration efforts on and off the parcel to succeed, and will further leverage fisheries conservation investments elsewhere in the Deer Creek watershed.
Purpose
The Deer Creek Crossing Conservation project has been added to the Marshall Creek Wildlife Management Area (MCWMA).
This project consolidates public ownership in a key area for fish and wildlife conservation and secures additional public access to the MCWMA.
Directions
This 645 acre section (24) is located 6 miles northwest of Seeley Lake and is adjacent to the southern bourndary of the FWP MCWMA.
