Project: The Confluence project is a 201 acre property purchase located near the confluence of Rock Creek and the Clark Fork River. The property's natural qualities have been threatened recently by increasing development pressure.

Purpose: To permanently protect the confluence of Rock Creek and the Clark Fork River.

Funding from the Montana Fish & Wildlife Conservation Trust will be leveraged with other matching/cooperator contributions to complete Phase 1 (property acquisition) of a 3 phase project for the area. Other phases include: restoring native habitat along Rock Creek and the Clark Fork River and providing public recreational and educational opportunities in the confluence area.

Directions: The Confluence project area is located in the Upper Clark Fork River watershed 20 miles east of Missoula, Montana at the confluence of Rock Creek and the Clark Fork River.
