Project: The Robin Street Fish Pond is located on approximately 12 acres of land along the Whitefish River. Lunker and Rainbow Trout populate the once family-owned pond. Road and trail access has been established in the area to encourage outdoor fishing recreation at the pond site.

Purpose: Provide new fish pond and access to Whitefish River for recreation.

The Robin Street property preserves about 12 acres along the Whitefish River. Funds provided by the Montana Fish & Wildlife Conservation Trust helped acquire the fee title purchase of the land. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the land owner contributed to landscaping the area, paving, fencing and the construction of a bridge. The fish pond takes up about 5-7 acres on the site. The fishery habitat and surrounding area will be enhanced and maintained under the guidance of Fish, Wildlife & Parks.

Directions: North of Kalispell, Montana, travel on US-2 going east for about 5 miles. Travel north on US-93 going north and turn left on Rose Crossing. The pond is located approximately 200 feet from the Whitefish River off of Scenic Drive.
