Project: This project is the number one priority for the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest because it would protect and enhance significant cultural, recreational, habitat, wetland, stream, fisheries, and sscenic resourcs and prevent habitat fragmentation from subdivision or developement.
Purpose: The 320 acres Holland Ranch has been transferred to the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Which now guarantees public access to the area and improves recreational opportunities in the area. This property also secures a quarter mile of the Nez Perce National HIstoric Trail.
Directions: The property is accessible from Forest Service Road 181 (Bloody Dick Creek Road) and is adjacent to 1.5 of the Nex Perce National Historic Trail.
